ABOUT CHAD

Fishing Background

Born and raised in Derbyshire, Chad has been fishing since the age of 11. Having been an all-rounder in Coarse angling, then concentrating on Specimen Carp and then Barbel; Chad then drifted into fly-fishing which completely took over! Chad has been a stillwater competition angler but also feels just as at home on the rivers!

His passion belongs in introducing adults and young people in to the beautiful world of fishing.

• 1st4sport L2CCA Dual Discipline Game and Coarse angling Coach.

• ​Insured under Angling Trust Membership and Coaching Scheme

• Licensed under the Angling Trust Coaching Scheme

• Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training

• Level 3 First Response Emergency Care qualified

• DBS checked and cleared

• Child Protection / Safeguarding trained

• Orvis UK endorsed guide

• Fly Fishing consultant at Mallon & Green, Bakewell, Derbyshire.

• Trained and adhere to GDPR under Data Protection Act 2018

• Set up numerous projects to introduce children into the sport.

• Member and Guide of the Peacock Fly Fishing Club and The Old Waltonians Fishing Club in the Peak District

• Coach and guide for Carsington Water, Derbyshire

• Access to a private stretch of the Derbyshire Wye
